About Maybe It’s Life

Hey there, and welcome to Maybe It’s Life With John Krauss!

I’m John, a husband, father, writer, entrepreneur, outdoor enthusiast, and everyday life adventurer. I’m always scoping out a new adventure, as well as something cool to write about. Here at Maybe It’s Life, my mission is to promote positivity, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle. I’m so excited and humbled that you stopped by to see what is happening here at Maybe It’s Life. You are looking at something special. Keep reading to find out about all the cool stuff that’s going on!

Maybe It’s Life is much more than just an idea or a website; it’s a way of life. It’s a way of existing or being. It’s a pathway to living well beyond who we are now and an opportunity to step into the role we were born to play.

Maybe It’s Life is an identity. It’s who all of us strive to be, better than we were yesterday. It’s that version of ourselves that we dream of being. It’s that goal we are reaching for, the purpose we seek, the vision we foresee, and the future that we desire.

Maybe It’s Life isn’t just about me and what I’ve done, or what I’m going to do. Maybe It’s Life is the story of anyone who has ever felt knocked down, only to be able to get back up and give it another go. Maybe It’s Life is about overcoming the struggles, the challenges, the fear, and the anxiety that comes with the pursuit of something greater. Maybe It’s Life is about accepting the past, taking advantage of the present, and maximizing the future. Maybe It’s Life is about learning to step into our true potential.

My goal here is to tie together a few of my own experiences and thoughts while turning them into the ultimate personal growth destination. I plan to pack as much inspiration, motivation, and encouragement as possible into each post. This page isn’t just for those of us who have bad days. This page is for those who have bad days and are ready to keep going and crush this life.

A few years ago, I was stunned when my wife told me that I was depressed. That was a wake-up call for me. But she was right. I was depressed, and I had fallen short on my end of the deal. I let my mental health suffer, and this was the result. It’s not easy to admit that you are unhappy. But the reality of it was that I was happy; I just needed to get out of my own way and recognize all of the good that was happening in my life. I knew I had to conquer this, for myself, for my family, and my future.

And now I’m doing it. I’m feeling the fire for life again. Life can take a toll on us. We go through challenges, struggles, and hurdles over and over again. We get up, we go to work or school, we come home, and we do it all over again and again, and again. We live the same day on repeat, never understanding the value of the gift that lies before us, life!

You may notice that I post a ton of outdoor pictures, ideas, and content. The outdoors is where I get most of my inspiration. I become the truest version of myself when I am outdoors, and now I’m here to help you do the same.

If you have a dream, purpose, or desire to do something better, don’t wait. Start following along now, and let’s get you to where you need to go. This blog isn’t just about mental health, motivation, or positivity; this is about building a community. This blog is about encouraging others to go after their dreams. This blog is about taking the story of ourselves and pivoting the page to become the most positive, powerful, and healthy version of who we can be.

I’m ready to feel the fire again, are you?
